The Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre welcomes you to a seminar by Brad Pinto, Associate Professor in Silviculture from the University of Alberta, Canada.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Brad Pinno is a leading expert in silviculture, focusing on methods to enhance the productivity and resilience of Alberta’s forests. In his role as an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta, he also teaches forest harvesting and transportation and leads the first-year forestry field school.

Beyond his teaching and research, Dr. Pinno serves as chair of the UofA Forestry Program, Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Forest Research, and is a council member of the Canadian Institute of Forestry – Rocky Mountain Section. He is also a Registered Professional Forester in Alberta.

With extensive experience, including time as a Research Scientist with Natural Resources Canada and as an operations and planning forester in northern Saskatchewan and Alberta, Dr. Pinno brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insight to his work.
