Call for partnership projects

The deadline for submitting your project application to SLU Partnership Alnarp for the autumn call is 22 October.

Apply for funding for research and development projects from SLU Partnership Alnarp. The projects must be carried out in collaboration between researchers at SLU and our partners. The application should be made by an employee of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Crop Production Science or the Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre.

Project applications should focus on agriculture, horticulture, or forestry, align with SLU Partnership Alnarp’s development areas, and contribute to sustainable development. Mutual benefit for academia, partners, and society is essential.

Typically, projects are funded with 100,000–200,000 SEK per year for 1–2 years by SLU Partnership Alnarp, with at least an equivalent amount from partners. Funding is granted for, among other things:

  • Research projects focusing on agriculture, horticulture, and forestry.
  • Pilot projects to test an idea, which may later lead to larger project applications from other funders.
  • Add-ons to existing projects that leverage synergies and create added value for both researchers and partners are welcome.
  • Projects that involve industrial PhD students and contribute to multiple added values from a collaboration perspective.

Guidance on how to apply can be found on the page More about project applications.

Funding of up to 50,000 SEK for organising a seminar, workshop, or efforts in a degree project can be applied for on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Read more at: Applications for seminars/workshops.
