Seminar: Crop yield differences between organic and conventional production in Sweden, reframing the discussion beyond national statistics

Yield differences between organic and conventional production systems can be obtained by using estimations from national statistics. However, there are several shortcomings when using this data, especially when accounting for biases such as spatial distribution of farms as well as farming conditions and management.

In Rafaelle Reumaux´s ongoing work at Epok, she is exploring experimental data from on-farm and field trials to understand the yield differences between organic and conventional production systems in the Swedish context.
