Do you want to know which career paths are waiting for you outside of academia? Then listen to Henrik Svennerstam and Jörgen Hajek from Skogforsk. The Seminar Series "Outside of Academia" is organized by two PhD students at the Department of Forest Genetics and Plant Physiology, Umeå Plant Science Centre.

The seminar is mainly aimed at PhD students and young researchers, but everyone at SLU is welcome. Please note that the seminar is held in English.

Skogforsk is the forestry research institute of Sweden with a mission to develop and communicate knowledge about forests, and promote sustainability in forestry through research, services and products. Both Henrik Svennerstam and Jörgen Hajek have been working at Skogforsk for years in their silviculture team. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a networking lunch afterwards.
