Webinar: Navigating the complexity of sustainable energy solutions

The transition to a more sustainable energy production is anything but simple and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Biofuels, electrofuels, hydrogen and battery electric technologies all play critical roles, and each comes with its own opportunities and challenges. This webinar brings together leading experts to share knowledge, explore synergies and uncover how these technologies can complement each other in shaping a cleaner, more resilient future.

Kalle Svensson, program manager at the Swedish Energy Agency, will share experiences from how funding research and knowledge sharing in the form of “competence centres” helps accelerate the sustainable energy transition in Sweden.

Maria Grahn, associate professor in transport, energy and environment at Chalmers University of Technology as well as co-director of TechForH2, a competence centre for multidisciplinary hydrogen research, will present experiences from the centre’s work towards a fossil-free transport system.

The webinar is moderated by Marcus Öhman, professor in energy engineering at Luleå University of Technology as well as project leader for research on material and energy within the competence centre focused on fast-growing broadleaves, Trees For Me.
