About the symposiun
We will examine biological, medical and sociocultural dimensions, addressing both clinical challenges and broader societal implications. Through interdisciplinary discussions, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of these complex issues and their impact on individuals and communities, involving attendees from various scientific disciplines.
Confirmed speakers
- Baudewijntje Kreukels is a Professor at Amsterdam UMC, Department of Medical Psychology. Her research focuses on gender diversity, gender dysphoria, and differences in sexual development.
- Gabriele Griffin is Professor Emerita of Gender Studies at Uppsala University. Her research focuses on women in research and innovation, gender and technology, female entrepreneurs, women's cultural production, feminist research methodologies, and non-normative identities.
- Erika Alm is an Associate Professor of Gender Studies at University of Gothenburg. Her research is grounded in feminist, political, and cultural theory and examines non-normative expressions of sex and gender.
- Pauliina Damdimopoulou is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology at Karolinska Institutet. Her research aims to investigate the effects of chemicals on female fertility.
