Sustainable food consumption as practice and symbolic distinction
The presentation will report (preliminary) results from the qualitative research project “Food as Distinction and Practice”. Results are based on 60 in-depth interviews with adult Danes from four different social classes and visual data. The aim of the project is to create knowledge about the current cultural expressions of class in food and eating. This presentation will focus on the (class differentiated) role of climate sustainability concerns in food practices.
