Presentation
Originally from Argentina, I have a B. Sc. in Biology from Universidad Nacional de La Plata (2011) and a Ph.D. in Biology from Universidad de Mar del Plata (2017).
I have a strong background in aquatic microbiology and phytoplankton, in particular bloom-forming cyanobacteria. For my research, I have combined field studies with laboratory assays and omics approaches to elucidate the mechanisms that shape the success of cyanobacteria and their influence on the biogeochemical cycles.
