Andrea Belgrano

Andrea Belgrano
Research interests Macroecology; food webs; biodiversity; population, community and ecosystem ecology; fisheries; ecosystem-based management; biocomplexity; biological oceanography; climate change; philosophy. My research approach is to use the broad concepts of macroecology, food webs theory and evolution to understand the underlying common rules governing ecosystem dynamics. Most of my current work focuses on ecosystem-based management for marine fisheries, ocean governance, sustainability and resilience.
