Ann-Britt Florin

As a scientist at the division of coastal reserach I am responsible for stockassessment and advice in coastal fish management. In addition I am head of the fisheries research station in Älvkarleby.

My main reserach interests are:

• Stock identification - by different methods such as genetics, tagging and otolith chemistry
• No take Zones ( NTZ, MPA) – evaluation of no take areas on marine fish fauna
• Flatfishes – biology and stock assessments
• Non indigenous species – occurrence and effects of NIS and invasive species on coastal ecosystems
