Cassandra Vogel
I'm a postdoc researching the resilience of biological pest control to climate change. To do this, I explore the climatic niches of natural enemy communities, and how natural enemies respond to different conditions, such as those induced by landscape-scale landuse differences and local field management by farmers. Overall, I hope my research can contribute to developing sustainable agricultural systems that are resilient to the challenges of the future.

Presentation

In general, I am interested in the interactions between ecosystem services, biodiversity conservation and agricultural practices in both tropical and temperate agriculural landscapes.

Before my time at SLU, I did my PhD at the University of Wuerzburg where I did research on the effects of landscape change and agroecological practices on biodiversity and ecosystem services in Malawian smallholder farms.
