Research
My current research focuses on insect chemical ecology and biological control strategies. It involves mapping natural enemies of aphids in apple orchards, with an emphasis on enhancing biocontrol by managing ant-aphid interactions and by developing and evaluating the impact of odor-based attractants on aphid natural enemies.
Additionally, I participate in a study investigating the origin and ecological function of specific semiochemicals, such as spiroacetals, in Tephritidae fruit flies to better understand their roles in ecological interactions and pest management.
