Gordana's main research trajectory is the production performance of the agricultural systems, covering issues in regard to economic performance, competitiveness, sustainability, resilience, transformation and innovation, and the interplay with the Common Agricultural Policy.

Cooperation
International cooperation established with universities and research institutes in Europe and Asia within EU Horison 2020 projects and The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education. Within the framework of the cooperation with Kasetsart University in Thailand, Gordana is an Adjunct Associate Professor.
Domestic cooperation with researchers and stakeholders within projects financed by FORMAS, SLF, and projects commissioned by the Swedish Ministry of Rural Affairs and Infrastructure.
