My activities are largely related to the evaluation of data from the national environmental monitoring programs in freshwater. Important areas are:

-Reference conditions for water quality
-Assessment criteria for acidification and eutrophication
-Trend analysis of long time series of water chemistry

Appointments:

• Head of the division of Geochemistry and Hydrology
• Responsible for the execution of national environmental monitoring of water chemistry in lakes and streams
• Coordinator of the SLU environmental monitoring and assessment programme for eutrophication
• National focal centre for Sweden in ICP-Waters within UN-ECE LRTAP

I lecture on different courses on acidification, eutrophication, environmental monitoring, assessment criteria and the Water Framework Directive.
