Ecological housing project in Eva Lanxmeer in Culemborg

On February 4-7, 2020 participants from the SLU Landscape Teaching Synergy Forum went on a study trip to the Netherlands.

The group visited seven urban projects to study examples of recent urban development from a perspective of social inclusiveness, with a particular focus on residential environments and their urban settings. The overall objective was to enhance the quality of courses that deal with urban planning on different scales.

During the field trip the group was guided by several architects and urban planners. Well worth mentioning is the exceptional ecological housing project in Eva Lanxmeer in Culemborg.

The study trip was funded by SLU Landscape Call for Ideas 2019-2020.

Participants from the SLU Landscape Teaching Synergy Forum:
Maria Kylin, Eva Kristensson, Victoria Sjöstedt and Lisa Norfall from LAPF.
Anna Robling and Bodil Dahlman from SOL.
