Research on the role of agricultural soil for the climate has come a long way, it was noted during a webinar recently arranged by SLU and the research program EJP SOIL. The program's broad approach provides the conditions to produce knowledge for practical use. "After the end of the program, we need to sit down and talk about how we can change our advice to farmers," said Markus Hoffmann, sustainability expert at the Swedish Farmers' Union (LRF).
