SLU joins European network focusing on bioeconomy

Recently, Vice Chancellor Maria Knutson Wedel signed the membership agreement for SLU to become a part of EBU, the European Bioeconomy University.

EBU is a consortium of eight universities dedicated to focusing on bioeconomy and addressing society's future needs in this field. The purpose is to collaborate on common EU projects, enhance student exchange programs, share experiences, and facilitate networking opportunities for young researchers in their respective fields. EBU also hosts an annual conference.

The countries represented in this network include France, Finland, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden.
