The application should not exceed one A4 page and should be submitted with a CV of at most two pages. Please sign the application form using EduSign and send it as a PDF file to Anna Maňourová (anna.manourova@slu.se).
The application must contain:
- The applicants' name and affiliation (department and faculty at SLU), the name and affiliation of the supervisor/work leader (if applicable)

- Short description of why the guest researcher should be invited to SLU or why the course/event is relevant to the professional development of the applicant

Additionally: A letter of approval from the supervisor (PhD students) or work leader (postdocs and technicians) is required.
The applications will be approved by the committee of the SLU Breeding Network at the beginning of November 2024, following the recommendations from a scientific evaluation committee of professors at the four faculties at SLU. The last day to apply is September 30, 2024. If the application is approved, the applicant will get written approval stating that the SLU Breeding Network guarantees a grant up to a certain amount. Allocated funds must be used before December 31, 2025. Only actual costs up to the approved sum are reimbursed.
A travel report should be sent to the coordinator of the SLU Breeding Network no later than two months after travel completion to receive the funds. The travel report should include a description of the most important parts of the trip, their costs and how well the purpose of the grant has been achieved. All costs, including deviations from the original proposal, should be reported together with a signature from the department accountant.
