Launch for new Future Forest report

Monday May 27, Future Forests officially released its latest report "Socio-economic indicators for the assessment of sustainability in the Swedish forest sector, and linkages with the national environmental quality objectives", by Francisco Aguilar and Ronju Ahammad. 

In the report, the authors have looked into if and how it is possible to quantify the extent to which environmental quality goals parallel social and economic developments using indicators. Do we have enough official statistics, national databases and other retrievable information sources, to assess whether society is moving towards meeting EQO's?

The launch was held at SLU campus Umeå. Coffee and cake was served and Ronju Ahammad held a presentation of the report and its findings over Zoom from Australia.
