Focus on Forests gathered young researchers

On Monday September 9, Future Forests held a workshop for early-stage researchers at the university club in Umeå University. The participants were researchers and late-stage Ph.D. students. The workshop focused on facilitating interdisciplinary networking, which is one of the founding principles of Future Forests itself, as well as providing an overview of what steps a young researcher can take in order to initiate interdisciplinary research projects with a focus on forests.

Participants seemed content with the workshop and seemingly, the most interesting part was when Future Forests’ Irma Olofsson and Stefan Hupperts talked about seed money applications.
