Book about the forest in the city wins Sweden's Architects Critics Award

The book Woods Go Urban radically explores how forests can be integrated into the the city. By highlighting the important role of trees and vegetation in urban planning, the book provides both inspiration and concrete tools for creating climate-safe and sustainable cities.

The editors of the book, which include several researchers and landscape architects from SLU and other Nordic universities, have made "the most remarkable effort to strengthen an initiated conversation about architecture and urban planning in the past year", as stated in the Swedish Architects' statutes for the Critics Award.
