Industrial X-ray scanner, model GE v/tome/x m 240. This apparatus can be used to create high-resolution 3D pictures of the spatial variation in the density of an object. These pictures can be analyzed to quantify, for example, pore networks in soil, the structure of plant materials, food products etc.
