What is happening in your WP right now?

There’s actually a lot happening at the moment! Our project “Silencing/Unsilencing Nature” is part of the exhibition Lyssna! at Färgfabriken in Stockholm. Nico Carpentier will explain this exciting approach that combines arts, youth (education) and our relationships with nature at the webinar Producing alternative discourses in Environmental Communication – the Silencing/Unsilencing Nature educational project at the Environmental Communication days on November 26.

On October 20, we organised our 2^nd ‘Unconference’ as part of the Mistra Environmental Communication programme meeting, with speakers from Lantbrukarnas Riksförbund and the arts, exploring the participation of rural communities in environmental sustainability. A very interesting discussion!

Any new people or organization that participate in your WP?

We have a new member of WP5 – Malte Rödl – who received his PhD from the University of Manchester and is now based at SLU in Uppsala. He joins us to do research on environmental communication in social media.
