WP4 - Enabling the transition towards sustainable and resilient animal production

The transition to a more sustainable and competitive animal production system needs clear governance in order to provide both effective communication and public policy, and to support the production of both sustainable food and community services in rural areas.

The work in this work package focuses on four areas:

1. Communication for the transition to a more sustainable and competitive animal production - What visions and goals are needed, and what obstacles are there that could potentially prevent these?

2. Policy and practical application of this for the conversion to a more sustainable and circular animal production system.

1. Develop effective policy communication for the transition to a more sustainable animal production - What characterizes an effective dialogue with the farmers?
2. Development of public policy to support the transition to a more sustainable animal production system - What are the necessary characteristics for such a policy?
