The Division of Landscape Architecture invites you to a higher seminar with Professors Carola Wingren and Hildegun Varhelyi. Moderator Hanna Bergeå, Researcher in Environmental Communication.
Art can serve as a stepping stone for encounters between experts, officials, politicians and the public.
Art can add a humanistic, poetic and existential dimension that catalyses discussions on challenging issues.
Art can inspire people to use places in new ways and contribute to the city becoming an active arena for diversity and reflection.
Hildegun Varhelyi and Carola Wingren will present two current projects.
Carola Wingren will speak about the collaboration between the COALA research project (Coastal adaptation through flexible land use) and the artist collective KONSTKIOSK in Kalmar in the summer 2023.
Hildegun Varhelyi will discuss the ongoing placemaking project På Sergels torg for the City of Stockholm.
The seminar will end with a dialogue.
