The first section of this two-part seminar presents a previous degree project at LTH investigating the lighting conditions of a horse-riding hall using Virtual Reality. The second part focuses on an ongoing doctoral project on daylighting and electric lighting retrofit in cattle stables. How can computer-based simulation and visualization tools help make informed decisions while designing and retrofitting livestock buildings? The seminar attempts to offer some insights.
