The student account
You will need your student account to access e.g. your e-mail, Ladok and Canvas. For information regarding how to create your student account, see here: https://student.slu.se/en/study-support/it-support/support/new-student---start/

Registration for the course
Self-registration for the course is done in Ladok between 2021-08-16 and 2021-08-30. Remember that you must be admitted and registered to take the course.

If you have been admitted to the course with conditions, you need to send your credit list to the course leader who will review them and decide if you can register. Do this as soon as possible as reviewing credits may take a few days due to the course start.

Educational support

If you are entitled extra educational support, please inform the course leader at the start of the course so that special arrangements can be made. For educational support for an exam, contact the educational administrator at econ-edu@slu.se along with your certificate from Nais 15 workings days prior to the examination. Discontinuation of a course

If you want to discontinue the course, you should immediately notify the educational administrators at econ-edu@slu.se, who in turn will inform the course leader and register a non-completion of the course in Ladok after your approval. You are also able to register an early non-completion of the course (within three weeks after course start) in Ladok yourself.

Exams
You will automatically be registered for the first exam of the course in Ladok Student. You can find your anonymity code in Ladok Student. Please note that you still have to register yourself for the re-exam in Ladok Student. This applies only to exams and re-exams within the Department of Economics.

Corrected exams can usually be collected Wednesdays from 12.30 - 14.30 in room D416 or D417 in Ulls Hus. Due to Covid, it is best to contact econ-edu@slu.se to get help with collection of your exam.

Förkunskapskrav

Kunskaper motsvarande 180 högskolepoäng, av vilka 90 högskolepoäng i företagsekonomi, och av dessa minst 30 poäng i ekonomistyrning och redovisning. Engelska 6.

Mål

Kursen syftar till att ge studenterna fördjupad kunskap inom såväl hållbarhetsredovisning som finansiell redovisning.

Efter avslutad kurs ska studenten kunna:

Analysera hållbarhetsrapporter.
Bedöma en organisations påverkan på intressenterna.
Föreslå praktiska lösningar för att implementera hållbarhetsrapportering i företagens kontrollsystem.
Jämföra och kontrastera finansiell redovisning och hållbarhetsrapportering.
Betrakta redovisning från ett bredare ekonomiskt och socialt perspektiv.
Genomföra avancerade analyser av finansiella rapporter.
Illustrera beroendet mellan konton i den finansiella redovisningen och syntetisera logiken i redovisningsprinciper.
Utveckla kritiska analytiska färdigheter i att tillämpa teoretiska kunskaper för att lösa aktuella praktiska problem
Jämföra behoven inom intern- och externredovisning, samt visa kopplingarna mellan intern- och externredovisning.

Innehåll

Kursen består av två delar: hållbarhetsrapportering och finansiell rapportering. Kursen börjar med hållbarhetsrapportering, med ett fokus på både historiska perspektiv och praktiskt tillämpning av hållbarhetsrapportering och reglering, samt dess teoretiska utgångspunkter. Därefter följer finansiell rapportering, med ett fokus på historiska perspektiv och logiken i redovisningens principer, samt på framtagandet och analys av finansiella rapporter. Fokus kommer att vara på International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), med fokus särskilt på värdering inom jord- och skogsbruk och resurser. Vidare läggs fokus på analys av finansiella rapporter från ett investerarperspektiv. Kopplingar mellan hållbarhetsrapportering och finansiella rapportering kommer att göras ur ett teoretiskt perspektiv.

Kursen genomförs med hjälp av föreläsningar, seminarier och egna studier.

Examinationsformer och fordringar för godkänd kurs

Godkänd tentamen. Godkända inlämningsuppgifter. Aktivt deltagande i obligatoriska moment.

Om studenten inte blivit godkänd på ett prov har examinatorn rätt att ge en kompletteringsuppgift – om det finns skäl för det och om det är möjligt.
Om studenten har ett beslut från SLU om särskilt pedagogiskt stöd på grund av funktionsnedsättning, har examinatorn rätt att ge ett anpassat prov eller låta studenten genomföra provet på ett alternativt sätt.
Om denna kursplan ändras, eller om kursen läggs ner, ska SLU besluta om övergångsregler för examination av studenter, som antagits enligt denna kursplan och ännu inte blivit godkända.
För examination av självständigt arbete (examensarbete) gäller dessutom att examinatorn kan tillåta studenten att göra kompletteringar efter inlämningsdatum. Mer information finns i utbildningshandboken

Övergångsbestämmelser

Examination: Minst tre omprov ska erbjudas under två år efter sista kurstillfället. Obligatoriska moment: Minst en förnyad möjlighet att uppfylla obligatoriekrav inom två år efter det sista kurstillfället.

Övriga upplysningar

Rätten att delta i undervisning och/eller handledning gäller endast det kurstillfälle, som studenten blivit antagen till och registrerad på.
Om det finns särskilda skäl, har studenten rätt att delta i moment som kräver obligatorisk närvaro vid ett senare kurstillfälle. Mer information finns i utbildningshandboken.

Ytterligare information
