The course leader/examiner must, as far as possible, use installation and promotion lectures as well as lectures in connection with business days in their scheduling. Thesis Day on Campus Alnarp takes place on 5th June 2025.
For courses on programmes for which PN-LT (the programme board for education in landscape and horticulture) is responsible on campus Alnarp, Wednesday afternoons must not be scheduled
- The purpose is to enable teachers and students to participate in education-related meetings and events that are not directly connected to the teaching of the course.
- Scheduling means all compulsory and non-compulsory teaching regardless of whether a lecture room is booked or not.
- Wednesday afternoons are covered by full-time studies, corresponding to 40 hours of work/week for the student. However, tasks that require work specifically on Wednesday afternoons should be avoided.
- Dispensation can be applied for by the course leader incl. justification and possibly alternative solutions with the chairman of the programme board, see link below. Please note that the application also goes to the Student union for an opinion before a decision on exemption is made.
- General exemption applies to evening courses, summer courses and commissioned training.
You can find the form to apply for exemption on the Swedish website, För lärare i Alnarp.
Note! For institutions/courses related to the Faculty of Forest Science, see the "Umeå" tab for more information
